With a motorsport career that’s seen her in commercial and sporting roles in the British Touring Car, Le Mans Series and British GT Championships, Hannah established YRC on the back of a beer mat at the world famous Autosport International Show in Birmingham in January 2009. Just three months later she found herself standing on the grid at Brands Hatch with the YRC G50 covered in the names of the founding supporters. Three seasons on and we’re still here – still sporting the pictures of our members.

Kathryn has been at YRC from day one. The first phone call went something like this HJ“I’ve had an idea…” Kathryn “OK, what are you waiting for?”. Since then, Kathryn has acted as a safety net for the good ideas that come from and into YRC, making sure that they don’t get lost in the masses of rubbish ideas we come up with on a daily basis!
Kathryn also has a ‘real job’ and her skills as a professional coach have been invaluable to the team through the challenges we’ve come up against since August 2008. Kathryn is the YRC glue.

There was nothing formal about Joe’s recruitment to the YRC Crew – he landed himself in it by declaring his spectacular skills at packing up transit vans and being a man of his word, he was inducted into the YRC family without much say in the matter. It’s not just his packing skills we love him for – he’s also a dab hand with the practical stuff and his ‘never say die’ attitude has ensured that YRCers have been fed, watered and entertained with barely a hitch this year.
He’s the voice of the YRC Space Hopper Trofeo Challenge Cup with Unlap and is a source of constant entertainment.

Natalie comes across as a giggly dizzy blonde so any of you who’ve met her in recent years will know that couldn’t be further from the truth. Switched on, and an amazing ambassador for YRC, she’s one of the hardest working girls in the BTCC paddock and we’re extremely proud to have her in charge of the YRC pole. She’s full of surprises so watch yourself you – might get punked.
PS She gets our vote for the foxiest girl in the BTCC too.

Moe and her snazzy bits of kit joined YRC in 2010 and fit into paddock life quicker than anyone we’ve met before. So unimpressed is she by the glitterati of the BTCC pitlane that we frequently get photos captioned ‘that Aussi bloke’ (Alan Gow) and ‘the lanky one’ (Matt Neal).
Most importantly, Moe understood our remit from day one. We wanted what is known in the trade as ‘reportage’ but you and I know it as ‘fly on the wall’.
Despite her long blonde locks and infectious laugh, she sneaks about capturing our memories almost un-noticed when it matters and if you want to understand YRC, you just have to look through her pictures.

Every team needs a real boss and Vik is ours. The one that does all the hard work behind the scenes and never gets the credit they deserve. From sorting out the finances to the late nights creating schedules to keep us all on the ball.
Having gained her racing experience at SEAT Sport UK, there was no way we were letting this one go… it takes a strong woman to keep an organisation the size of SEAT Sport in order and order she keeps at YRC! All this whilst juggling a full time career in finance.
Vik is our rock.

Kev came to the rescue of YRC in early 2010 when Hannah’s elaborate hospitality plans were coming together.
With a career in construction, the idea of a dome unlike anything else in the BTCC paddock was Kev’s remit and boy has he delivered. Kev heads up the YRC Event Squad and his nothing’s impossible attitude has set the tone for YRC this season. There’s no cutting corners or botch jobs when Kev’s about and no insurmountable challenge. The idea of staging a YRC Fans Dome in 2011 has kept Kev on his toes with a whole set of new conundrums to pickle over.

After deciding he didn’t have enough money, or talent, to be a racing driver himself, Matt decided his best option was to write about the sport instead. He’s worked in a variety of series’ over the years but touring cars has always been his first love and he’s worked in the BTCC paddock since 2004 for different publications and teams.
Now he’s taken the chance to join Hannah and the YRC crew to help the team on its quest to move up the motorsport ladder.
